Keystone Fur Dressing offers full service hide prep.  For an additional charge, we will turn and split the eyes, lips and ears, as well as remove foot bones and skulls.  Lastly, the hide is both fleshed and salted.

When sending hides to be hide prepped, please follow these guidelines

• Please customer code the hide for your reference as to who the hunter is. Always put your code on the left of the hide, looking at it from tail to head with fur side down.
• Do Not Salt and Freeze the hide.  Salt prevents complete freezing and can make prepping difficult.  Just place the hide in a bag and freeze it.
• Once the hide is completely frozen, place it in a box and put large red X’s  on the outside of the box.
• Ship at the beginning of the week so that the package is not left in a warehouse facility over the weekend.
• We recommend shipping next day or 2nd day when the weather is warm.  We would like to receive the hides still frozen.
• Please allow an additional 3 to 4 week turnaround time on prepped skins.
